Oleg Agafonov x HARK & GRAAF
This collaboration was built around a shared appreciation for refinement, atmosphere, craftsmanship and thoughtful detail. Rather than approaching the project through strict direction, the process evolved naturally through symbolism, memory and interpretation.
Each illustration carries a deeper meaning connected not only to the identity of HARK & GRAAF, but also to personal memories and experiences from the artist himself.
The rake and shovel symbolize patience, discipline and honest craftsmanship — inspired by memories of childhood and manual work. The ship represents movement, ambition and stories passed through generations, connected to the artist’s father who spent years working at sea. The vintage telephone reflects connection, permanence and communication, inspired by memories of his mother working as a telegraph operator.
Every illustration was first hand-drawn using dry pastel and soft graphite on textured paper to preserve an organic and tactile feeling. The works were then carefully refined and vectorized by hand while maintaining their original character and atmosphere.
What makes this project special is the shared philosophy between artist and brand: a belief that true luxury lives in subtlety, authenticity and the smallest details.
A visual interpretation of HARK & GRAAF.
